When speaking of Thai folklore, the "Phaya Naga" (Great Serpent) is often the very first creature that comes to mind. It is undeniable that, regardless of your generation, the Naga is deeply woven into the Thai way of life. From majestic temple guardians and official corporate emblems to awe-inspiring portrayals in media, the Naga has always been projected with magnificent grandeur, rightfully becoming an iconic symbol of Thai pride.

🎨 A Fresh Perspective: The Debut of ‘Nakky’

Because traditional Naga legends can sometimes feel intimidating, Phra Maha Sarayut Aggadhammo (Deputy Abbot of Wat Sri Samakkhi Tham in Bueng Kan) envisioned a new, contemporary artistic interpretation of the province's most famous symbol. This brilliant idea gave birth to "Nakky", an irresistibly cute, miniature Naga inspired by the Buddhist tales of the three Jatila brothers.

Perfectly aligning with the booming Pop Culture trend of Art Toys, Nakky made a sensational online debut. Not only did this adorable character become a viral beloved icon, but it also successfully raised educational funds for novices and local children, establishing itself as a powerful cultural asset and a true Soft Power for Bueng Kan province.

🤩 The Two Oppas Finally Meet the Real 'Snake Buddha'!

The "Jai Fu" fandom is well aware of P'Jong and Cullen’s uniquely adorable Thai vocabulary—whether it’s the "Adidas Mosquito," the "Ninja Fish," or the "Fat Buddha." Among these famous coinages is the "Snake Buddha" (their term for the Naga). Naturally, P'Thai had to invite the duo to meet the real-life Snake Buddha!

Since they were starring in our commercial, we had to make it extra special. We were incredibly honored to have "Nakky Bueng Kan" and their whole adorable family share the screen with P'Jong and Cullen. Faced with such overwhelming cuteness, the two Oppas' hearts were definitely full (Jai Fu)! ~
